Welcome to the Benton Brigade Hurling Club

Mission Statement

The Benton Brigade Hurling Club has been established to provide members of the community a means of participation in the sport of Hurling. The club, led by its officers, will strive to promote and support the sport both in and outside of Benton County. The club will make reasonable efforts to support and help grow neighboring county/city teams. It will aim to create a fun atmosphere composed of dedicated individuals as well as casual members. Goals for the development and growth of the organization will be submitted and pursued to achievement as needed. The club will
be managed by volunteer officers and will work to build a professional and organized image in the community.

January 10, 2012 - The Benton Brigade Hurling season starts with a practice on February 4th, rain or shine! Come check us out.

September 5th, 2011 - The Brigade travelled to San Francisco over labor day weekend for the 2011 Nationals. We played 4 matches against teams from all over the country and landed in 4th place out of 11 teams, not too bad for our first major outing.

July 29th, 2011 - The Benton Brigade begins their march to the 2011 NACB finals next week, team practices will run twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, the first practice is Tuesday August 2nd at Avery Park beginning promptly at 6:30.

June 5th, 2011 - The Benton Brigade took thier first tournament championship yesterday up in Seattle, WA. Playing a very closely contested match against the Columbia Red Branch the Brigade battled through their 3rd match of the day in 80 degree heat to take home the cup.
